Been watching the Great North Run on the TV today and looking out for The Urology Foundation Team of 5 urologists raising money for the charity today.

I love a croissant and in the London café where I grabbed breakfast this morning they had combined two of my favourites with an almond chocolate croissant – small wins!

Off to get the train up to Birmingham where I will be working for The Urology Foundation at the BAUS conference – 3 days on a stand so comfortable shoes packed!

Frustration!

I should have been in London early this morning to help wave off the fantastic Bike4TUF riders who are riding London to Paris to raise money for The Urology Foundation but due to the train strikes I couldn’t make it!

Meeting at Park Lane Hotel today – looking forward to working with TUF on their gala dinner in October in this beautiful art deco ballroom complex.

First day back at work and on an early train to London, rude awakening after some 2 weeks off.

Tonight the artist Alex Roch kindly hosted a private viewing of her latest London exhibition, in Shepherd's Market, in aid of The Urology Foundation.

Site inspections today for a gala dinner. Loved the stunning listed art deco ballroom complex at Sheraton Park Lane, can see why it's often used as a location by film and TV companies.

No red carpet but lucky enough tonight to see a showing of the TUF Cycle Challenge film in the private viewing room of the famous production company Working Title Films.

In Oxford to look at venues for a training course and couldn't resist taking a photograph of this amazing wisteria, which also smelt beautiful, outside Hotel Malmaison.

Had the pleasure of being back at Vintners' Hall, in London, this evening for a Wine Tasting dinner with The Urology Foundation Patron and Times journalist Jane MacQuitty.

TUF Reception at The Cartoon Museum in London tonight, a small but really nice museum and well worth a visit if you are in the area.

In Manchester for the week with The Urology Foundation to attend the BAUS conference.

Site inspections in London today including at a hotel I worked at some 15 years ago – felt very strange walking in the front door!

More tube problems today so walked from Victoria Station through to Pall Mall for first meeting of the day. Sun shining and beautiful old buildings to look at so no hardship!
