It’s interesting that when made up as cards some images "pop" more than others, and not always the ones you think will.

My thanks to the National Horseracing Museum for the kind invitation to join guests for the official opening of the National Heritage Centre for Racing & Sporting Art in Newmarket by her Majesty the Queen this morning.

Some of my framed images on show this weekend (September 23rd to 25th) as part of the Art Exhibition held in St Mary's Church, Gedding, Suffolk.

Thrilled to find out today that some of the photographs I took at Palace House Stables, Newmarket prior to its restoration as part of The National Heritage Centre for Racing & Sporting Art are going to be used in a temporary exhibition for the soft opening of the museum in mid-September.

Builders in today doing repair work on the gable end wall with my office out of bounds for close to 2 weeks. Thank goodness for portable technology.
